Tonsils (tonsils) is a stack of layers of fabric to be located at the rear of the esophagus. The tonsils are part of the immune system that is designed to protect us by trapping bacteria and viruses trying to enter our body through the mouth.

However, an infection that occurs very often that sometimes the tonsils could not cope. Unfortunately, resistance is conducted by the tonsils are infected, it is called tonsillitis.

Tonsillitis is usually caused by a virus that also causes cold sore. It can also be caused by certain bacteria. For example, sore throat, a type of infection caused by a bacterium called streptococcus.
